Breakfast to benefit Dakota Hope Clinic

Knights of Columbus Council 4894 will host a free will offering breakfast on Sunday, January 5, from 8:30 a.m. to Noon in the Our Lady of Grace dining room.  Proceeds will benefit Dakota Hope Clinic in Minot.  The menu includes French toast, pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, fruit, juice and coffee.  All are invited!

 

Middle School Youth Group is on January 8

We changed the January date for the next Middle School Youth Group gathering.  It will now be held on Wednesday, January 8, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.  All in grades 6-8 are welcome!

 

Enter the Knights of Columbus Christmas coloring contest!

Children in Kindergarten through grade 6 are invited to enter the Knights of Columbus Christmas coloring contest.  Please download and print this page 2-sided (so that the form is on the back side of the coloring picture), color it, complete the back in pencil, and turn it in to the Faith Formation office by Wednesday, January 8.

 

Bible Study begins January 14

We are offering two sessions of the Ascension Press study "Luke:  The Story of Salvation Fulfilled".  You may attend either on Tuesdays at 7:45 p.m. beginning January 14, or on Wednesdays at 9:45 a.m. beginning January 15.  This is an 8-session study on the Gospel of St. Luke with Jeff Cavins and Dr. Jeffrey Morrow.  The cost is $40 per person with online access or $35 for no online access.  Pre-registration and payment is required.  If you have questions, please contact the parish office at 701-839-6834.    

Mass in Class for Wednesday Faith Formation is on February 12

Our annual Mass in Class for Wednesday Faith Formation Kindergarten through grade 5 students will be during their 4:00 and 5:30 p.m. class times on Wednesday, February 12.  (This was changed from January 22.)  The fifth grade students will do the ministries of the Mass, such as reading the Reading, carrying the gifts, etc.  Parents, siblings, grandparents and others are invited and encouraged to attend.

 

Required First Eucharist Retreat

There are two options for students and their parents to attend the required First Eucharist Retreat:  Sunday, January 26, from 1:00-2:30 p.m. OR Thursday, January 30, from 6:00-7:30 p.m.  The retreat is for the children who prepared for their First Reconciliation during the beginning of the school year and will prepare, during the next few months, to receive Communion (Jesus in the Eucharist) during First Eucharist weekend, which will be April 26 and 27, 2025.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Formation is available

If you are interested in becoming a trained catechist or aide for our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program – which is the hands-on, Montessori-style Faith Formation program we use with preschool, kindergarten, and first grade students – please talk with Christine in our Faith Formation office.  We will be offering Level 1 formation at Our Lady of Grace beginning next summer.

KC Pancake Breakfast at Art in the Park, July 3-4

All are welcome to the Knights of Columbus Art in the Park 4th of July sausage & pancake breakfast on Wednesday, July 3rd, and Thursday July 4th. Each day the breakfast is served from 7-11 a.m. on the Morton Mandan Library patio behind the band shell on Main Street in Mandan. Cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children aged 10 and younger. Proceeds to benefit various charities.
